I LOVE teaching music at Trent Park. My students are awesome!
I spent the 2008-2009 school year at West Craven Middle School. I made a deal with my students that if they did well enough, and met their goal, for the 6th grade Math EOG that I would dye my hair pink. As you can see, they met their goal and I got wonderful pink highlights. I am always willing to go the extra mile… let’s see what crazy things I come up with this year!
This is a picture of my family. My family lives in NY and I miss them a lot. I try to go home and visit them during the holidays and during the summer. Sometimes they come visit me too! It snows a lot in NY… I think they like to visit me because the weather is nicer here. I have two wonderful nephews in NY. You will hear me talk about them a lot. Tyler is will be in First Grade and Cody will be 2 in November.
I am very involved with community theatre in New Bern. I LOVE to be on stage!!! Here are some pictures from the different shows I have done. In October 2009, I played the role of Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical. Some of you saw this show on a field trip. I love to listen to and sing Broadway music.
I absolutely love the beach. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go to the beach and swim in the ocean.
